My name is BJ and I am a mother to two gorgeous little kidlets, Lily, almost 3 years and Charlie 9 months.
I've spent most of my adult life working in the crazy, busy & ever changing travel industry. I was obsessed with my job, sometimes working up to 60 hours a week and often travelling for work and ( mostly) leisure. I would return from one trip and have the next one booked within days. Until, my surprise (happy surprise) pregnancy turned my footloose and fancy free life upside down. I had to cut my working days back to 3 a week and my passport was put on the shelf to gather some dust. However, much to my delight, I adored being a Mama. Long walks on the beach, coffee with friends, lovely days at the park and gorgeous cuddles, right? Well, sometimes.
We took Lily overseas for her first adventure when she was 13 months old and Charlie will get his first stamp in his passport at 11 months. I am still working 3 days a week in travel and divide the rest of my time between being Mama and my new obsession, my little handmade business. It is still very young and finding its feet. I know a lot about selling travel, but very little about selling something I have created myself. Makes me nervous and any advice you want to throw my way will be received with thanks!
